Uzbekistan Group Trip Itinerary

Uzbekistan is one the most asked trip destinations I’ve had so I’m very excited to finally be bringing you on the trip of a lifetime with me!

Day 1: Arrival Day

Land in Tashkent and enjoy a private transfer straight to our hotel. Depending on arrival times, we’ll start exploring a bit of the city on our own and have dinner together as we embark on this epic aventura!

Day 2: Exploring Tashkent

Tashkent is Uzbekistan’s capital and the most modern city. It’s a great way to ease into this new destination.

Today we’ll have a local guide take us around to the best sites.

Day 3: Train to Bukhara

After exploring Tashkent and the modern side of Uzbekistan, it’s time to head to the historical part. Today we’re off to Bukhara! We’ll get there by train that takes about 4 hours. We’ll explore a bit after lunch and then get some rest before a full day of sightseeing tomorrow.

Day 4: Buhara sites and bazaars

More than 2,000 years old, Bukhara is one the most complete examples of a medieval city in Central Asia and right on the Silk Road. The historic city itself is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that acts as an open air museum with over 140 monuments. It truly is a treasure that we get to enjoy!

Today we’ll explore more of the city but then also head just outside to visit the summer palace.

Day 5: Onto the next, hi Samarkand!

Our Bukhara hotel overlooks a main square so we’ll be able to enjoy the view every morning during breakfast! During the morning we’ll have time to wander around a bit more and grab lunch before we make our way to Samarkand.

Day 6: Exploring Samarkand

Our hotel overlooks Registan Square so we’ll be able to enjoy this gorgeous view every morning here. Since we’re staying right in the historic center, we’ll be able to walk to the major sites and really take in this beautiful city.

Day 7: Beyond the Historical Center

This is an early morning because we’ll be doing our flying dress photoshoot this day. Afterwards we’ll head back to the hotel for breakfast and to change before starting our tour for the day. We’ll head a bit out of the historical center to a carpet factory and to do our Plov cooking class as well as a scarf masterclass.

Day 8: Day Trip to Shahrisabz

Today we’ll wander out of the city completely and through the mountains to reach another city called Shahrisabz. Here we’ll spend part of the day wandering through historical sites before making our way back.

This evening we take a train to Tashkent so we’ll need to have our bags packed before heading out in the morning. We’ll reach Tashkent by the evening to rest before our flights the next day.

Day 9: Hasta Luego Amiga

Today is airport day and you’ll have a private transfer depending on your flight time.

It’s time to say goodbye to a beautiful destination but only hasta luego to the amigas! Hope to see you on a future aventura.
