This past October I visited Uzbekistan for the first time. As a US citizen, I rarely have to apply for tourist visas as it’s a privilege that comes with the passport. Uzbekistan is a country that does not provide US citizens a visa free entry and I needed to apply for an e-visa.

Once I found out I would be visiting, I started looking into the requirements needed to apply for the e-visa. That is when I realized that I needed to get an Uzbekistan e visa to make my trip a reality.

Thankfully the Uzbekistan tourist visa process is not a difficult or time consuming one. The wording of the online application did cause a bit of confusion at first, which is why I have put together this guide to make it easy for you!

Here you have all the required documents you’ll need in order to apply and what to expect of the application process.

I hope you have a smooth time with your visa and have an amazing time in Uzbekistan!

    1. The continue button at the end will actually change to a ‘Make a letter’ button once you’ve filled in your email and the Captcha code. Check your email for a link. That will resend you to the website and you can click on continue to head to the payment page.
